Book summary:

If there’s one thing Gillian Hodge never wants to see again, it’s a man on a motorcycle. Her last encounter with one left her right hand crushed, ending her promising career as a concert pianist. But as she heads to Rainbow’s End Resort, a sudden thunderstorm causes a motorcycle to crash in front of her.

When TJ Benjamin’s wife died, he lost more than his best friend; he lost his faith. He’s spent the past year wandering the country on a motorcycle, trying not to think about his future. When he finds himself stranded with a busted bike and a reluctant rescuer, he has to wonder about God’s sense of humor.

Can this woman without a future and this man running from his past find romance in the present? Or are they too tied to the way life used to be?

Review:

Once again Amanda Cabot has done it again. Such an amazing book full of hardship, love, and hope. We have made our way back to Rainbow’s End Resort but this time it is about Kate’s friend, Gillian, and newcomer TJ.

Rainbow’s End is a magical place where people can enjoy a relaxing vacation but it is also a place that brings strangers together. Gillian has made her way out to Texas for a break from her life and to visit her pregnant friend. After a tragic incident the famous pianist lost her ability to play in an orchestra. So her next step is taking time to figure out what is next. On her drive to the Resort, a motorcyclist crashes off the side of the road after hydroplaning in front of her. Startled, Gillian checks to see if the man is alright and decides to take him to Rainbow’s End since his bike won’t be moving anytime soon. The driver we find out is TJ. TJ has been through so much in life and has been driving all over the country on his bike after his wife past away. The last place he thought to find himself, let alone stranded, would be in small town Dupree, Texas. As time goes by the two become closer and almost depend on each other. Only problem is that TJ is still getting over his wife’s death and Gillian is dating a politician, Mike Tarkett.

There is just something about Cabot’s books that comes to life. You feel as if you are a part of the group. I just wish I could find this place and visit. This is a place where you can find hope and peace. A place to let your worries go and be free. I love reading about the different people that lives and works at Rainbow’s End. They are real and have each faced a different trial in their lives. Once they give themselves over to God and let Him guide them, they seem to have a better understanding on what to do.

Many thanks to Revell for giving me this book to read in exchange of an honest review. You have given me an amazing book for me to enjoy. Thank you!
